Adding chemicals to dissolution baths to prevent algae forming is not new. However previously we have only offered liquid additives which are both heavy and difficult to ship due to restrictions in some countries.
The new Ever-Clear product is a safe crystalline compound supplied in small tubes - simply add the contents of one tube to each dissolution bath, and the water will stay clear for 2-3 months. Better still, it is good for all laboratory waterbaths and not restricted to dissolution!
Ever-Clear is supplied in packs of 12 or 48 units and is available with a Materials Data Sheet. EVERCLEAR-12. EVERCLEAR-48
We all know that handling baskets is difficult, especially when placing on and off the basket shaft. Many users touch the mesh and this leads to contamination and deformity, thus rendering the basket outside specifications.
The new BasketTool allows users to pick up and firmly grip a basket without touching the mesh. This makes it a lot easier to place the basket on and off the shafts. Physically touching baskets becomes unnecessary except for cleaning.
When used together with a basket storage rack (BSKHLD-12 or BSKHLD-6) this makes a great combination sale. Every customer we have shown these to so far has wanted one!
