Conditions Relating to the Sale of Goods to You
Our Contract
When you complete the online checkout process, you will be sent an email acknowledging receipt of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product or products. SMI-LabHut only accept this offer when we contact you to confirm acceptance of your order. Please note that SMI-LabHut reserve the right to reject any offer.
Product Details, Pricing and Availability
SMI-LabHut make every effort to ensure the pricing, description and specifications of products displayed on the website are accurate at the time you place your order. If a pricing error is found, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order. SMI-LabHut reserve the right to substitute products of equivalent or similar specification. All prices, products, descriptions and specifications are subject to change without notice.
All goods are subject to availability. On receipt of your order, we will contact you to confirm availability. If any products are not in stock, you may cancel your order.

Payment
Payment is only taken at the point of shipping. Card authorisation at the point of placing your order is a pre-authorisation only to ensure that we meet with International standards of fraud prevention. We do not store your card details on our computer systems or transmit them electronically, and all transactions are via the secure SagePay portal
The final payment amount to include any extra charges such as shipping will be clearly transmitted and agreed with your prior to monies being taken.
Warranty
SMI-LabHut warrants its products to meet the stated performance and quality and to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. They are not warranted for, nor does SMI-LabHut assume liability for, misuse. No other warranty or representation is implied or expressed by SMI-LabHut for its products with respect to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or any other matter. SMI-LabHut shall not under any circumstances be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or compensatory damage arising from the use of, or in conjunction with its products. The maximum liability that can be assumed by SMI-LabHut for breach of warranty shall be the invoice price of the product.
The products offered by SMI-LabHut are intended for laboratory or manufacturing use only. They are not intended for medicinal or food use. SMI-LabHut assumes no responsibility or liability should its products be used for medicinal or food purposes or are misused in any way.
Refund and Returns
If goods fail to meet the product specifications as desrcibed in the warranty above, or performance when used in the recommended way, then you are entitled to replacement goods or a refund where appropriate. SMI-LabHut reserve the rght to establish the cause of failure and proper use prior to refunds or returns being agreed. Returns for reasons other than product failure are not accepted unless in exceptional circumstances.
Cancellation
You have the right to cancel your order prior to the goods being shipped and monies taken. Once the goods have been dispatched and monies taken then the right of ownership is transferred to you and we will no longer accept cancellation.
Delivery
Delivery is in accordance with the product availablility and if products are not in stock then the estimated delivery time will be made available to you. Shipping will be by the most economical and quickest means to ensure fast delivery to your door, or by your account if that is your preference.
Customs
When ordering products for delivery overseas, you may be subject to import taxes and duties. These are levied when the package reaches the specified destination. You must pay any additional charges for customs clearance. Please also note that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
