Vankel dissolution baths can use different filters. The -01 filters fit on the 3.6mm (0.0142") cannulae and also on the 2.1mm (0.083") cannulae with flexible tygon tubing (tubing increases the diameter to 3.6mm). If the tygon tubing is removed from the 2.1mm cannulae then 'direct fit' filters should be used.
Note: VanKel cannulae dimensions are larger than 3.2mm (1/8"). VanKel filters are not interchangeable with filters for other bath manufacturers.
Filter tips offer an economical solution when only low flow rates and low particulate samples are taken. These will fit over the tygon tubing or 1/8” cannula.
Note that VanKel was acquired by Varian and subsequently by Agilent.
