The cap, and more importantly, the septa, is the most important part of any system when it comes to contamination. Good quality septa is cured, and extractables driven off, before being used in caps. The cap plastic itself is virgin (not recycled) to ensure that minimum contamination can come from that source too. Low cost vials and caps are low cost for a reason and this is often once of them.
